Birthday Makes Part 2

Today is Clemmie’s birthday.

She like the ballet so I dug out the ballerina mouse card I stitched years and years ago.  Sadly I had lost the envelope but the card was still in good condition and it was nice to finally have someone to give it to!  Clemmie also likes giraffes so I found this giraffe bookmark kit on Sew and So, stitched it up and backed it with some felt.  FYI this was the mystery stitch I was talking about.

I’m now on to making a coaster for my friend Gary.  He wanted one of M Bison from Street Fighter.  I think game characters are really great ideals, they are made up of pixels which makes them easier to chart.  Hopefully should have it finished in a couple of days.  I had to change to 16ct aida as the 14ct made the design too big for a coaster.  Hopefully the 16ct will fit, the Cross Stitch Calculator says it will fit so fingers crossed it’s accurate.  Anyway here’s what I’ve done of M Bison so far:
